The Fortune 500 company provides data and internet infrastructure, information, and analytics services. The customer was in dire need of a unified enterprise-wide Container Management Framework as a Service that would help the company tap the full advantage of the cloud and actuate cloud transformational goals to become truly cloud-native.
The company, struggling with time-taking, manual, siloed, and expensive migration of LoB workloads, needed a cloud-vendor-agnostic framework that would scale down on-prem infrastructure and work in 2 new CoLos. The legacy application architectures and on-prem apps/services were becoming outdated. There was a lack of a cloud layer for automation and monitoring, CI/CD infrastructure, and container applications.
INNOVATIVE CONTAINER MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK (CMF)
With our expertise in open-source innovation and cloud-native engineering best practices, we built a unique framework that runs on any type of technology environment – on-premise, multi, and hybrid cloud.
The Kubernetes-based CMF enables workflow teams to easily migrate their own applications. With a modern framework and infrastructure, the CMF is helping the customer modernize application architectures of currently on-prem apps and services.
The project was quickly developed and delivered in two phases – First, we enabled applications teams to deploy containerized applications in Dev/QA and PROD clusters. Next, we provided LoBs an end-to-end automated workflow to deploy apps/microservices into the Kubernetes cluster and view/monitor application workloads.
